First part of November
Herewith photos of the work on your DB4 over the past period. We are moving ahead with Martin working on the aluminium body. The front clip is repaired where necessary, the air inlet on the front panel is renewed. You have seen the very good quality of this clip a few weeks ago and only a few spots needed to be repaired. You have asked us to fix an oil cooler opening which is done by Martin. Finally we could install the front end on the steel chassis structure and this gives the DB4 a complete other look again.
Preparations for installing the rear side of the aluminium clip is done and then we put back on the car. Together with the aluminium front end on the DB4, she is looking like an Aston Martin again. Michal has checked the floor panels and the gearbox tunnel and did repairs where necessary. He also prepared the engine bay for installing parts again and he fitted a few parts already.

Martin also made and welded in the strengthening wiring in the aluminium of the rear wheel arches.
Richard cleaned the original wheel arches, removed old paint primer and removed rust. After that, the wheel arches were painted red/ orange again. The brake disc shields were cleaned by Richard, but appeared to be on the thin side. New ones were added. Window winding mechanisms were cleaned and checked. They were also repainted.
