History

The Aston Martin DB9 represents one of the finest expressions of the modern Aston Martin Grand Tourer. Introduced in 2003, the DB9 combined the timeless elegance of Aston Martin design with sophisticated engineering and the unmistakable character of a naturally aspirated V12. With its beautifully proportioned bodywork, luxurious interior and effortless performance, the DB9 quickly established itself as one of the marque’s most celebrated models of the modern era.

This particular DB9 was built on 7 July 2007 and was first registered in Germany on 24 October 2007. The car has enjoyed an especially appealing ownership history, having remained within the same family. The first owner cherished the DB9 until his passing, after which the car was taken over by his son.

The complete maintenance history of the car is known, providing a clear and reassuring record of its life from new. Since being acquired by his father, the current owner has continued to care for the DB9 within the family.

As the present owner already has several Aston Martins in his collection, the DB9 has seen remarkably little use during his ownership. The mileage records illustrate just how sparingly the car has been driven. On 18 July 2017, the odometer showed 60,122 kilometres. By August 2024, this had increased only to 63,282 kilometres. Today, the DB9 has covered just 64,551 kilometres.

The result is a DB9 that has been carefully enjoyed rather than extensively used, while benefiting from a continuous family ownership history and a fully known maintenance record.

The DB9 remains one of Aston Martin’s most compelling modern Grand Tourers, offering the combination of elegant styling, luxurious refinement and the character of Aston Martin’s V12 powerplant. Cars with a known history and such limited use over recent years are increasingly difficult to find.

This DB9 therefore presents a particularly attractive opportunity to acquire a well-documented example with an unusual family provenance, exceptionally limited recent mileage and the benefit of continuous care throughout its life.
