Noble House Classics
“Inspired by the past, focused on the future”
Aston Martin is well known throughout the world for its hand built automobiles. Automobiles with Power, Beauty and Soul. Worldwide Aston Martin has for a long time a loyal group of supporters, like for instance James Bond.
In the Eighties of the past century, Aston Martin still breathed the charm of an old fashioned, almost romantic’” factory “, where assembly lines were absent. Aston Martin V8’s were mixed with Aston Martin Lagonda’s and the noise of hand beaten aluminium panelling was present throughout the workspaces. Everything fully hand built.
Compared to the decades when most of our project cars were originally hand build, there has been a lot of development in tooling that makes the restoration process much different nowadays. While human skills are still extremely important during the restoration process like for instance for panel beating and upholstery, modern techniques are used to make the processes more efficient and to support a much better result. How do Noble House engineers help creating your dream car?
Noble House carefully listens to the wishes and demands of the customer and plans the restoration process in close cooperation. Whether this means an Aston Martin with original specifications or one with improvements and upgrades for driveability, comfort and/or sporty driving or even with a new body style or drivetrain.
If parts are not already available from our archive, they can be made in house through reversed engineering: making new and accurate versions of worn and damaged parts or making improved parts. This involves 3D scanning and printing, making 3D computer models and using laser cut or CNC milled metal parts for example.
Due to the extensive experience of former restoration projects for all Aston Martin Heritage models, Noble House has a large database of parts that have been digitalized and remade, including many sheet metal parts for the Aston Martin DB4, DB5, DB6, DBS and V8 models. Due to this enormous archive and experience, Noble House is able to replace every sheet metal part on your Aston Martin Heritage model and make it fit. While all classic Aston Martins are unique, even within the same model range, no project is the same.
The combination of old fashioned craftsmanship with support from new technologies equals in correct classic cars that fit in the 21th century. Noble House stands for old school quality with passion, in combination with cost effective, new technologies.
On the left side you see the 3D scanning process so we can reproduce body parts (2nd picture) for our restoration projects. We scanned a whole chassis to compare 2 DB4GT underbodies for restoration.
