History
Introduced in 2003, the Aston Martin DB9 marked the beginning of a new era for the marque. As the first model to be built at Aston Martin’s Gaydon headquarters, the DB9 combined timeless British elegance with modern engineering and became one of the most successful and recognisable models in the company’s history. Designed by Ian Callum and built around Aston Martin’s lightweight bonded aluminium VH architecture, the DB9 offers an exceptional balance of performance, refinement and long-distance touring comfort. Powered by the naturally aspirated 5.9-litre V12 engine, it remains one of the finest examples of a true British Grand Tourer.
This particular Aston Martin DB9 was first registered on 17 September 2004 and has been registered in the Netherlands since February 2013.
In December 2019, the car was acquired by its current owner through Noble House. Since then, no expense has been spared in maintaining the car to a high mechanical standard. The accompanying history file documents an extensive programme of maintenance and refurbishment carried out by Noble House over several years.
The documented maintenance history includes the following work:
– 7 February 2020 €336.99
– 11 May 2020 €929.89
– 15 September 2020 €7,537.09
– 5 October 2020 €2,533.74
– 16 November 2021 €2,298.15
– June / August 2022 €15,040.72
– 4 December 2024 €8,677.22
– 30 December 2024 €5,653.60
– 9 February 2026 €6,219.22
These documented expenditures include routine servicing, an automatic gearbox overhaul, differential rebuild, new tyres, brake overhaul and numerous additional mechanical improvements required to maintain the car in excellent operating condition. The continuous investment made by the current owner demonstrates a commitment to preserving the car to a high standard rather than simply maintaining it.
With an extensive documented maintenance history, substantial recent expenditure and the unmistakable character of Aston Martin’s naturally aspirated V12, this DB9 represents a highly attractive opportunity to acquire one of the marque’s most elegant and usable Grand Touring models.
