History

The Aston Martin DBS V12 Coupé represents one of the most exciting interpretations of the modern Aston Martin Grand Tourer. Originally introduced in 2007, the DBS combined the elegance and refinement of the DB9 with a more sporting character, drawing inspiration from Aston Martin’s involvement in the world of James Bond. With its muscular styling, extensive use of carbon fibre and naturally aspirated V12 engine, the DBS quickly established itself as one of the most distinctive models in the Aston Martin range.

At the heart of the DBS lies Aston Martin’s impressive 5.9-litre V12 engine, producing 510 bhp. Combined with the Touchtronic automatic transmission, it offers an exceptional blend of performance and refinement. The extensive use of lightweight materials, including carbon-fibre body components, further enhances its dynamic capabilities, while the luxurious interior retains the craftsmanship expected from the marque.

This particular Aston Martin DBS V12 Coupé was delivered new on 17 December 2008 to its first owner in Dubai through Premier International Motors Group. Finished in Lightning Silver Metallic with a beautiful Chancellor Red leather interior, it features a particularly striking colour combination that perfectly complements the DBS’s muscular yet elegant design.

In 2012, the DBS passed to its second owner, also in Dubai. The car remained in the region until 2017, when it was exported to the Netherlands.

Following its arrival in the Netherlands in 2017, almost €20,000 was invested in the Aston Martin. Between 2017 and 2021, the car was maintained by Kroymans in Hilversum, ensuring that its maintenance was entrusted to an established Aston Martin specialist.

The exterior is protected by a ceramic coating and partially covered with transparent Paint Protection Film (PPF), helping to preserve the attractive Lightning Silver Metallic finish against stone chips and everyday wear.

The car carries Dutch registration and is identified by chassis number SCFAD05D49GE00883. The odometer currently displays 43,500 kilometres.

The Aston Martin DBS remains a particularly desirable modern classic, combining the presence and comfort of a luxury Grand Tourer with the performance and character of a true V12 sports car. Its distinctive styling, naturally aspirated engine and beautifully appointed interior make it one of the most compelling Aston Martin models of its generation.

With its interesting Dubai ownership history, subsequent Dutch maintenance by Kroymans, significant investment following its arrival in the Netherlands and additional paint protection, this DBS V12 Coupé offers an appealing opportunity to acquire a particularly charismatic example of Aston Martin’s celebrated flagship Grand Tourer.
