History

The Jaguar MK II was delivered new in the UK in March 1967. In the 1970s, the UK was the first place the Dutch searched for English classics, it was not until the 1980s that America was discovered as an option for buying classics.

The Jaguar MK II with chassis number 235198 DN was bought in England in 1977 by a Jonkheer Bosch van Drakestein. The MK II was registered in the Netherlands on 21 April 1978. In the following years, the Jaguar was regularly used for summer trips and long-distance tours. In the late 1980s, the Jonkheer himself started restoration work and, due to circumstances, work stalled.

In early 1996 the Jaguar MK II was offered to Noble House, on 19 April 1996 the Jaguar was added to the trading stock. Between 1996 and the summer of 2023, the MK II has been in Noble House storage. Recently, the storage shed doors have reopened and it was decided to sell the MK II to an enthusiast.

It is a great project for the enthusiast and a wonderful challenge. The Jaguar is missing its overdrive gearbox and carburetors. However, Noble House can assist in completing the Jaguar!
